CONGRATULATIONS MY LONG TIME FRIEND. AM VERY HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I CAN IMAGINE HOW VERY HAPPY YOUR SWEET MOM IS. IT'S SO NICE, TOO, TO HAVE A "CRYSTAL SPRINGIAN" IN SUCH A HIGH OFFICE. EVEN THOUGH I NOW LIVE IN BATON ROUGE, I WILL ALWAYS BE A MISSISSIPPIAN. MY HEART IS STILL THERE, AND I AM SO PROUD TO HAVE GROWN UP THERE, ESPECIALLY IN CRYSTAL SPRINGS. I HAVE TO COME HOME EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE TO GET MY HEAD STRAIGHT! I TELL MY HUSBAND, WHO IS A BR NATIVE, THAT MISSISSIPPI IS GOD'S COUNTRY! THE AIR IS EVEN BETTER WHEN I CROSS THAT STATE LINE!

Justice may be blind but she is not stupid. Nor were the people of Mississippi. JIm’s election to the Supreme Court will be a breath of fresh air and bring a needed balance to the high court. My congratulations to Jim and his entire family.

The State of MIssissippi just put a tremendous person on its highest Court. Jim Kitchens will, without a doubt, be a Justice who will, in every case, dispense true justice for the parties. I am proud to have known Jim for many, many years and the State of Mississipp and our counry is better because Jim is on the Court. God was in charge of this election that is for certain!!!
