Help us raise $50,000

After pondering the fact that Big Oil is paying big bucks for Jim Smith to get re-elected, we decided we’re going to send Mr. Smith a message.

To date, oil and energy executives have donated approximately $50,000 to Smith’s campaign. Those amounts have come in donations no smaller than $1,000.

So we want to show Smith that we can raise $50,000 from the hard-working people of Mississippi who are struggling under the high gas prices imposed by big oil companies.

Here’s what we are asking of our supporters: Make an online donation of no more than $200.

That’s it. We want a flood of $10, $20 and $50 donations from people who want fairness out of the Mississippi Supreme Court.

Our deadline for this goal is September 30, which is the end of our next campaign finance reporting period.
